The Research Park at Florida Atlantic University elected its 2019 officers, naming Bob Swindell, President and CEO of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance, as Chairman and Daniel Flynn, Ph.D., Vice President for research at FAU, as Vice Chairman. The Research Park is governed by the seven-member Florida Atlantic Research and Development Authority, which supports R&D in affiliation with FAU and fosters technology-led economic development in Broward and Palm Beach.

WEDU PBS has named Paul Grove as its new President and Chief Executive Officer. Grove is joining WEDU from WTCI PBS in Chattanooga, where he has served as President and CEO for 13 years. The move marks a return to WEDU and Tampa for Grove. Prior to taking the CEO role in Chattanooga, he served as vice president of national programming and production at WEDU.
